Due to the constant political instability, the impact of COVID-19 and the economic downturn that Lebanon is facing, Lebanese Nationals, who wish to extend their stay and reside in Cyprus, can enter the Republic with a visitor visa and before the expiration of the 90 days to proceed with the application submission for a Cyprus Temporary Residence Permit.
This type of permit allows Non-European Union passport holders to extend their stay in Cyprus for more than 3 months (90 days). It is valid for one year, it can be renewed on an annual basis and under this permit you and your family members will be allowed to live in Cyprus as visitors.
Once applied you will be able to legally reside in Cyprus until your Temporary Residence permit card is issued.
It is important to note that this procedure has fewer requirements than the Permanent Residency program and it can be obtained also by submitting a tenancy agreement.
