The Civil Registry and Migration Department announced that based on the decision of the Ministry of Interior, applicants who can prove that they have submitted sales agreements at the Department of Lands and Surveys from 02/01/2022 to 28/04/2023, can proceed with the application submissions for the acquisition of a Cyprus Permanent Residency Category 6.2 (Fast Track) under the previous criteria which were in effect from 24/03/2021.
It is noted that, in regards to the dependent persons (parents, students, spouses or minor children), the above will only be applicable if the applications for the dependents are submitted at the same time as the main applicant’s application. In situations where the dependents applications are submitted in a different period, the new criteria will apply.
The current announcement dated August 31, 2023, is an amendment to the announcement of the Civil Registry and Migration Department dated April 27, 2023.
